Before babies develop a sense of self and a sense of being, they can pretty much do whatever they want and everyone is like, “Oh, yeah. That makes sense for a baby.” The same can be said for animals, right? This fish's mouth is agape, but he's probably just a little hungry. My niece opens her mouth when she wants a bite of my food—she's one and a half years old. The silly and giggle-inducing parallels between animals and babies are nothing short of a masterpiece.
