Retail employee gets co-worker fired for being lazy and then quits, manager gets stuck with $200 bill: ‘The best part? [The co-worker] brought her mom in the next day...'

There is nothing more satisfying than being able to quit a torturous work environment with a bang! When you don't care about burning bridges and your upper management team was so toxic that you don't even care whose feelings could get hurt. It's not a common situation to be in. Usually you have to quit in a "professional" manner as to not burn bridges—even if you absolutely hated every second you worked there. It's unfortunate, but just the way society as piled it. But every now and then you hear of someone who was able to quit with a blaze of glory and it deserves a round of applause.

In the case of this employee, it was in the dreaded world of retail. If you have ever worked retail, then you know how stressful and unsatisfying it can be. You deal with all kinds of entitled people, including your own management. That is exactly what this employee was being dealt. She had worked in retail since a teenager, but was at her wits end with her new co-worker who kept climbing the ladder simply because she buddied up with one of the managers. This lazy and impolite co-worker was pushing buttons left and right…

When you aren't even trying to get along with your co-workers or do your job, that will, obviously, come back to bite you—and it sure did for this toxic co-worker. She was so entitled and lazy, that an employee caller her out, ratted her out, and then quit. Before her last day even came, she had gotten an investigation put on this co-worker that ultimately ended up getting her fired—it was very satisfying. The now ex-co-worker came back with her mom just to glare at everyone and rack up a $200 bill under her now ex-manager's name. What a world!
