Sometimes, the employees who are treated with the most disrespect are the ones who have worked the longest at the company. It's not that "company men" deserve that much more special treatment, but they should, at the very least, be offered a level of transparency, especially when it comes to their own future at the organization.
One would think that someone who has offered that much time and energy to a business's success deserves to be nurtured in their work environment. Unfortunately for this guy, he was not only transferred to another department without much warning or explanation but he was also expected to help out his new replacement. After being vaguely told that things were not exactly “working out” with his boss, this employee switched departments and was under the impression that he put all this negativity behind him. Sadly, he was wrong for thinking it was over. Instead, his new coworker, the one who was replacing his old position, was now bothering the employee day in and day out with questions about how to do certain things.
Well, the employee figured that since he apparently was not doing a great job, then he had no great advice to give to this new hire. Power to him!
