‘I’m just a middle child caught in the middle as usual’: Sister feud ignites due to parents spending more on youngest daughter's wedding due to inflation pricing

If you are a sister or have a sister, then you now the kind of arguments that are being had. They are so petty and little, but so explosive and emotional. Seriously, there is nobody like a sibling that can make you lose your mind. It's like, they know the exact perfect thing to say that can immediately make you burst into tears. It's infuriating. That being said, they are your besties for life. Sure, you can talk about them behind their backs and to their face, but if anybody, I mean anybody, says something bad about them, you're throwing hands. That is YOUR annoying sibling they're talking about. They aren't allowed to say that about them.

It gets even messier if you are a middle child. Only middle children can understand this. Just as you are positioned in your timing of birth, you are there during arguments. You always end up in the middle! You can try your hardest to stay neutral, but you are going to be pulled back and forth, because you are the last vote that might tip the scales. They need you to decided for them or else they will just keep going for each other's throats…

In this scenario, it is three sisters. The youngest is planning a wedding and the eldest got married and had a baby almost two decades ago. The youngest is doing what the youngest does and deciding everything last minute and being way too wishy washy for planning a wedding. Plus, due to inflation, her parents are technically spending more on her wedding they they did on the eldest's wedding. So tensions are high. They eldest is even refusing to buy her a gift because the youngest didn't get her a gift for her wedding! Granted, the youngest was only 10 years old when that happened…
