Maybe it's a life lesson from this is also to not date people you're going to see the rest of your life, like a family friend. I always am aware of these things before I date someone, and make sure that I won't have to run into them, or burn other bridges in my life in the event of a breakup.

I can't believe this couple dated all the way back in high school, and one of them is still hung up on his ex. Dude, it's been far too long and you need to get over it. There's no point to just sit there jealously watching your ex and his current boyfriend. Why suffer?
