We are glad that everyone in the comments seems to agree about one thing, and that's how awful the people who did this to him are. Because they really are the worst. Not only throwing the cat into the lake, but throwing him locked in a basket, giving him no chance to make it out on his own. Someone in this story deserves to be thrown into a lake, and it's not the cat.
