    ‘I don't feel alone anymore’: How a Craigslist rescue dog helped a woman heal and find renewed joy in life

    It has been long known that doggos are fantastic friends to those who are not feeling well. Whether it is canine children comforting their pawrents when they are poorly, guide dogs who allow vision impaired hoomans to navigate the world independently, or even therapy doggos who roam the halls of hospitals visiting sick children who need some light and love in their life. So it truly comes as a shock that the medical industry has not yet included canine care as a part of their guidelines to support not only those who have special access to a doggo, but everyone who needs a big bundle of love and light in their life to help them through the mental hardships of their mind.

    So we hope that this story crosses the paths of decision-making doctors, such that there might be some more openness to the idea, that just how this cute canine saved this hooman's life and outlook on life, so can the thousands of homeless howlers around the world, save the lives of countless hoomans who simply need the support that only a doting doggo can give.

    • Considering how far science has come, it seems rather daft that in this day and age dogs are not prescribed to people who need large doses of doting doggo love to help heal their ailments. Especially when there are some many marvelous mutts out there in the world who would give anything for a decent, loving home. It is about time your health insurance covers dog adoption and vet fees for hoomans who need some canine companionship as part of their medication.

    • See yet another example of a hooman who needs help, and has resorted to bringing home a pawdorable pupper though her own means, just because it is not socially or scientifically accepted to prescribe a double dose of doggo in a medical practitioner’s office. Just imagine the day that this turns around and your doctor turns to you and says ‘I hope you aren’t allergic to dogs, because your prescription is filled with them’.

      almost 3 months now and it's made a world of difference. It's definitely tough a lot of the time, especially living alone but it's so worth it when I come home everyday to something so excited to see me I hope all continues to go well
