The Funniest Animal Memes of the Week (February 1, 2025)

Remember the "birds aren't real" meme? What was the deal with that? It started as a joke conspiracy theory about the most absurd concept, but it quickly became something people believed. Or maybe they didn't think it and just posted like they did. I believe memes like "birds aren't real" opened the floodgates for far more widespread conspiracy theories to crop up like the "Helen Keller wasn't real" meme; I can't tell you how many of my fellow Gen Zers believe that Helen Keller was a total faker and would think that I am a sheeple for believing that she was blind, deaf, and could speak/read.

Animals are such a ripe topic for conspiracies. We've debated the existence of the Loch Ness Monster for the past 100 years, and Bigfoot is always on my mind. If you want to dabble in memes about real animals, you've come to the right place.
