It's a thoughtful gift, and this bride is so lucky to have an aunt that's sweet and generous. It's not everyday someone gets money from their family, the bride's father and step-mother should be happy for her. Instead, they're making everything about themselves. It's pretty petulant to focus on pedantics in the wedding invitation, if you ask me.

The thing that gets me is that the wedding invitation has actually nothing to do with the money the bride's aunt gifted her. If they have a problem with the wording of the invitation, they can talk to their daughter/step-daughter about it, instead of dragging the aunt into it. Imagine the shock of being told to demand your money back from your niece. Truth be told, the father or his wife can't demand either of the ladies to do anything with the money, the money is theirs.
