Employees expose food thief by tampering with donut, culprit busted after showing up to meeting covered in blue stains: 'He tried to act casual'

If you've never dealt with an office food thief, consider yourself lucky. You wait all morning for your lunch—whether it's your one moment of peace in the day or just because you're starving—and then you go to grab it, only to find out it's gone. Just like that. The betrayal is astonishing. Yet somehow, food thieves seem to pop up in offices all the time. They cause the kind of rage that makes you want to pull a Ross from Friends when he found out his boss stole his Thanksgiving leftover sandwich (complete with a meltdown, of course).

Some people go all out to get back at these thieves. I've read stories of employees spiking their food with something unbearably spicy, and I've even read about one who let the food thief unknowingly eat dog food for months before she exposed him. And while those stories are iconic, I've never read about revenge quite as simple and clever as this one.
