As a Harry Potter fan who is always happy to stop by the Harry Potter Store in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, I have a bone to pick with the London-based fans. I will never understand the appeal of going to King's Cross Station in the middle of rush hour traffic just to hear an announcement that the Hogwarts Express has departed. I know that they stopped doing this announcement this past September, probably in an attempt to curb insane crowding, but even in the years when the announcement was made, I can't understand wanting to be in a huge crowd for a fictional train to depart. I'd much rather spend September 1st under a blanket watching A Very Potter Musical for the millionth time, which is even freer than driving to a train station. If you want an activity that's both Harry Potter-themed and free, these Harry Potter memes are a good option for the cold weather.
