Time to prepare, y'all—it's that time of the year again. Cold a flu season. Did you get your flu shot? Are you stocked up on throat lozenges, cough syrup, and lots of tea? Do you have your family's secret soup recipe handy? Make sure you have all the ingredients for it at home! We hate getting sick. Do you remember the last time you caught a cold? Just a good old fashioned cold. Nothing like anything else that's been going around over the past half a decade. Just a cold. I remember the last time, it was THE WORST.
Literally, got tested for everything and the doc said, "it's just a cold! Go get lots of rest." And, no cap, I thought I was for sure going to perish. Like, how is not any of the other fatal things going around?? I HAVE AN ICE PACK ON MY FOREHEAD AND A HEATING PACK ON MY THROAT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN JUST GET SOME REST?! So, this year we're avoiding cold season by staying inside and scrolling through memes. You go ahead and risk touching that subway pole to get to the party, some of us are fine in our living room enjoying a good healthy doom scroll.
