If you are a lucky pawrent of a boy dog, then you understand why we had to dedicate an entire list of memes to their love bug-ness. Some people think boy dogs are all protective and won't hesitate to gnarl and bite, but boy dog-owners know otherwise. Boy dogs are just big softies! They just sit there looking at you with the quintessential puppy dog eyes and simply burst with love. When it comes to boy dogs, all the want to do is cuddle with you. Sure, they'll train and do well and bla bla bla, but they are just doing all of that so they can make their hooman happy and get lots of cuddles and love later.
Boy dogs love love. If anything, girl dogs can be more protective because they have that motherly instinct. Boy dogs just want love. If you give a boy dog scratches behind his ear, he's going to want to nuzzle his head into your arms, then you're going to end up giving him bvtt scratches, and that will make him want to lay down with you, once he lays down it is illegal to move because it's too sweet, so now you are obligated to stay there and cuddle him until he moves. Them just the rules, buddy.
