It's tough being a woman in STEM. Constantly underestimated, clever ladies throughout history have wormed their way into passionate scientific fields by simply being better than all the boys at their own game. Funnily enough, despite the smack-talking the guys throw at you, women have a higher threshold of success to which they're beholden. There's no slacking when you're a woman in STEM because you gotta prove them wrong! 

While men seem to think that women are better suited for Home Economics or Theater classes, ladies are just as equipped mentally to handle theoretical physics, 2-page mathematical formulas, and 1,000 lines of code. In fact, I'd argue that women have higher stamina for cutting-edge research fields, as they're more willing to work with one another instead of sandbagging a project for the sake of their own prowess. So if you're a woman in STEM who sometimes imagines a world where you can take the day off instead of constantly proving yourself, think of the little girls that will learn about your research in their classes in the future and keep that fire alive in the hearts of young women. 

Because science is super cool! There's no denying it.
