When I was in college, there was even an actual squirrel club. Yes, a legitimate student organization where students, alumni, and even community members got together every Sunday during the fall and winter semesters to—wait for it—feed squirrels. And the best part was that proceeds from their adorable squirrel-themed t-shirts went straight into funding premium peanut snacks for their furry friends. I most definitely purchased a few of those.

Especially now, when it's cold, and most of us are huddled indoors trying to avoid the freezing wind.
