I have a confession. Though I may appear to you now as a roll-with-the-punches, freewheeling cool cat, I was once a member of the planner community. If you don't know what the planner community is, it's a side of the internet where washi tape, fancy highlighters, custom stickers, and expensive, in-depth planners with places to track habits, set goals, and remind yourself you're a boss babe. I would do elaborate spreads every week, filling in my homework tasks and doodling to-dos. It was half organizational prowess and half complete aesthetic. It was great fun.

I still hold a strong piece of that with me. Though I may not get out a whole pack of gel pens every morning anymore, I do still keep track of all my to-dos on pen and paper. Whenever I walk into a stationery store, my heart rate increases and my pupils dilate. There's something so wonderful about the prospect of a new notebook. It will fix everything, you think.
