25 Posts of Pawdorable Cats Who Should Get Golden Cat Awwwards

Another year, another award show. Movie stars and television actors line up dressed to impress, hoping to be on the side that says, "I really didn't think I'd get it. I was nominated with such a wonderful group of actors" instead of "it's an honor just being nominated." Highlights of these evenings, along with the winners' photos, appear everywhere you scroll.

Unfortunately, other award shows don't receive the same attention. What about the awards our neighborhood cats received for the cutest footsies, the fluffiest fur, and the crooked whiskers? We sat and allocated each one an award. Why isn't that on everyone's Instagram except ours?

Obviously, things have to change. It doesn't make sense that there isn't a fancy ceremony for cats' pawrformances yet, for which Balenciaga and Gucci designers will work hard to tailor the nominees' purrfect little outfits. There's a market for it, the ratings will skyrocket. Dodjacat can host it, and all cat-loving celebs are welcome to attend as silent pawticipants for some stardust.

It’s really hard to imagine an acceptance speech for cats. After slaving all day for them, cleaning their litter box, placing delicacies, buying expensive equipment - at the end of the day we don’t expect any thank-yous. Mainly because we won’t get them anyway. We choose to view their cuddling as their way of showing appreciation

If there was an award show for lazy cats, the academy folks would resign due to the amount of work. Proud pawrents everywhere in the country would send videos of their felines doing absolutely nothing when a bird chirps next to them, remaining asleep when startling noise occurs, and of course, staring lazily at the pricey cat workout stand we bought them.
