It's 2025, mom and dad—we hope you had a great New Year's Eve! Did you pretend like it was midnight at the stroke of 8pm to celebrate with the kids and then put them straight to bed, have a babysitter sneak in, and then have yourself sneak out? However, we imagine most parents did the sane thing, which is put the kids to bed, maybe shared a glass of champagne together at midnight, and then fell asleep immediately. Both are amazing tactics that all parents are privy to and we applaud both.

It's a new year and that means a new sense if just trying your best. It's weird—parenting is a very strange mixture of being forced to live in the moment, but also being forced to take your future very seriously. Like, how do you find balance with that? That can't be easy! So the only thing you can do is try your best and love with all of your might. Your kids might not express how much they appreciate everything you do for them right now, but they will grow up one day and see just how much you've given them.
