She's received gifts according to her baby, but she got something strange from her father's girlfriend. They've never been friends, and don't see eye to eye on many things. I can really understand the narrator's perspective. I don't even have social media, and I find the influencer culture is mostly fake, insincere, and doesn't contribute to anything I enjoy learning or consuming. Sure, once in a while I will watch something. But take everything with a grain of salt. This person's job is to make you envious of their life, plus I would rather put my trust and opinions in those who I know already.
