    'She was hanging onto life by a thread': Poor Cat Found Freezing and Lifeless Gets a Second Chance After Being Rescued, Then Finds a Warm and Loving Family to Adopt Her

    Some cats are fighters. We know that here at ICHC. We don't see it very often on our house cats, considering the fact that they sleep all day, are probably chonkier than they should be and complain if their breakfast is five minutes late or if someone pets them at an inopportune moment, but some cats… stray cats especially are fighters. And that's definitely true for the rescued cat in this story. 

    When these kind people rescued this kitty, she looked like she was done. She was sick, freezing and just lifeless. But she was one of those fighters, and once this fluffy feline was rescued, once she was warm again, she made sure that everyone knew she was not ready to let ago. And although the treatment was not particularly easy, she made it through, stronger than ever, ready to be adopted by her furever family, and now, at home, she is thriving.
