'Of course I adopted him': Person Rescues Cat With the “Saddest Eyes” in the Shelter and Gives Him the Purrfect Forever Home

When it comes to adopting a cat, some of us spend months and years thinking about it, considering every possibility, wondering if we can afford it and how we can make sure to make their lives as good as possible. That's some of us. Others… don't get the time to do that. Sometimes, you walk into a shelter, fall in love instantly, and get adopted by the cat of your dreams without ever intending for it to happen. Which is pretty much what happened in this story. 

Scrolling through a cat adoption site certainly doesn't mean that you're planning to adopt one. We've done it a million times without the intention of actually adopting, just because we wanted to maybe adopt at some point. And that seems to be what this person was doing, but a cat caught their eyes. The cat with the saddest eyes. And it doesn't matter whether they were intending to adopt or not, they got adopted by this kitty from afar.
