There are a lot of encouraging and motivational catchphrases that we all know and try to enforce in our everyday lives. 'Be true to yourself', 'Just do it', and 'Seize the day', to name a few. We all know how hard it is to follow some of these inspirational life lessons, to a point where it usually seems impossible. Sometimes, we actually manage to fake it 'till we make it and find ourselves doing exactly what these phrases encourage us to do, and that is a wonderful feeling. Other times, we learn the hard way just how far we are from making those phrases into a reality.
If you ask me, the most challenging motivational catchphrase to follow is none other than 'Love thy neighbor', and this Reddit story is the perfect way to prove my point. How can one love their neighbor when all they do is throw literal trash at your doorstep and refuse to remove it, no matter how much they ask them to?
