As humans, we thrive on routines and traditions when it comes to our daily lives. Sure, we can claim we love adventures and trying new things, but at some point, we all crave the normalcy and simplicity of a regular life. When thinking about traditions, Christmas traditions are the best of them all. We're talking about traditional activities, family visits, food, and so much more. December is the perfect combination of snapping out of your daily routine, for a series of traditional experiences.
If you ask me, my favorite tradition around Christmas time is always about the food, especially all the seasonal drinks being sold around the country. Give me a sweet and spicy eggnog every single day this month, and there would be no one happier than yours truly. Then I add to that my own personal tradition of scrolling through some hilariously festive memes, and Christmas is indeed Merry.
