Everyone is left feeling demeaned, disrespected, and even dumbfounded as to how they could have been dating or married to someone they actually barely knew. As ubiquitously painful as it is, it's still incredibly common. How could something this horrific and destructive simultaneously be so common?
In this Reddit thread, it's about a woman's infidelity. The original poster (OP) is a man who finds out his SIL is cheating on her husband. Not that he's particularly close with his BIL, he feels empathetic and protective of him in the situation. His wife seems to accept and support her sister through the affair, until OP decides he's seen enough. He rats out his SIL, only to be labeled the bad guy.
