There is no denying that kids tend to take up a lot of space. In a world where not everybody gets to live in a mansion, this has an obvious effect on most family homes. For many new parents, not only does the concept of a spare room become a luxury, but their kids' belongings also start to take over every other space in the house.
You might think those who would understand this best would be the ones who had been through it before, like grandparents. However, for one woman this was far from the case. When she and her husband converted their guest room into a nursery for their new baby, her dad complained about having to sleep in their office when he visited for Christmas. While his other daughter was in agreement with him, the internet thought that he was being pretty unreasonable in his demands on his family.
