Welcome back introverted ladies and gentlemen of the internet. When self-diagnosing introvertedness there are a few key elements to look for. For one, for how many minutes can you engage in meaningless conversations? If you land anywhere between zero and five minutes, you're probably an introvert. Second question, when you leave work or socializing do you eagerly jump into bed, feeling refreshed by the very idea of not speaking to people? If you answered yes, we're on the right path. Thirdly, when you're at a party do you find yourself in the corner talking to the one person you know, or do you openly mingle? If you chose the former, then we have a winner…ding, ding, ding, you're introverted!
The thing about being introverted, is that it isn't about how many friends you have, or how loud you get, or how friendly you may seem. It's about how you recharge your energy, it's about the desire to be with yourself more than others, and the need for alone time.
