Unlike a work happy hour or holiday party, there's no expectation to drink or spend time talking to your long-winded coworkers. Instead, you just try to solve a series of fun puzzles to escape a locked room. It promotes teamwork and thinking on your feet, so why not make it a workplace excursion?
