Woman Refuses to Prioritize Children Over New Husband, Eldest Daughter Accuses Her of Being Absent as She Steps Up to Care for Siblings, Mother Sees Kids as Ungrateful

In a perfect world every parent shows up for their kids when they need them. They are there to keep the monsters away and help you fight them off, but in blended families, roles and dynamics aren't always as clear cut. Balancing the whirlwind of it all can be a challenge for everyone involved. Parents are humans too and they make mistakes especially when they are swept up in love. However it doesn't excuse not putting your children first through it all. They exist because of you. 

For this daughter, as she steps up to take care of her younger siblings she isn't afraid to bring her mom back down to reality. Sometimes tough love is what you need, whether or not it's successful is a whole other story. There are definitely ups and downs to parenting your parent, mostly downs. Hopefully these two can work it out. Everyone loves these kids at the end of the day, at least we hope. At the rate matters are unfolding here, we aren't sure where things are headed.
