When you're gearing up to check out at the grocery store, waiting in line is part of the adventure. Some folks think that the entire world revolves around them and they don't need to wait in line. Other patient shoppers queue up in an orderly fashion and actually have empathy for customer service workers who are doing their best to accommodate everyone fairly.
Entitlement exists in all ages—it doesn't discriminate. The customers in the story you're about to read thought they could boss grocery store staff members around like they were personal servants.
