Cats have been working hard to get themself known as strict overlords, running a tight ship within their castles.
it's an ancient embedded instinct of letting their hoomans know what kind of conduct is acceptable, where the red lines are drawn, and most importantly – that every action is followed by a reaction.
This is especially true when one of the human servants decides to shamelessly introduce a new, unauthorized structure to their territory. That kind of unacceptable behavior must dealt with a swift, unapologetic response. no ruling figure can afford to be seen as weak and risk an uprising that can bring their millennia-long regime to an end.
Thus, when a two-legged helper decides to revolt and, god forbid, bring in a giant, green structure that carries intoxicating scents of faraway lands, and is embellished with an infuriating amount of weirdly shaped, easily breakable objects, known in their language as Christmas tree – a lesson must be taught.
