In babysitters, we trust! Well, most of the time. Sometimes, just like parents, babysitters find themselves in over their heads. We don't blame them… unless you do. We see you, Karen! The life of a parent is filled with the unexpected, and often, we brace ourselves for what may come, even before we open the door. But there's always the chance we'll be surprised. Kids are some of the most imaginative creatures, after all. Even parents who know their children inside and out couldn't predict that their kid would trap their babysitter in a web of strings, literally. Or maybe it was the other way around.
Regardless of whether you've known your babysitter for a decade or a week, things with kids are far from predictable. Maybe the best thing to do is cut everyone some slack because before you were Supermom, you were probably a babysitter too. It's all part of the learning curve. Bedtime is chaotic for everyone and if you can survive dinner with kids you can do anything.
