Surely we've all had our fair share of terrible roommates. The kind of people who actually see themselves as the landlords and act like everything they say must be followed.
When it comes to horrible roommate experiences, I think I won the gold medal. I once had to share a tiny 4-bedroom apartment with 7 roommates, meaning I had to share a room with two other people. The apartment was constantly messy, there were always dishes in the sink, and no one was willing to commit to any household task so we could ensure there was any order in that place. Plus, this one especially horrible roommate constantly went out of her way to make everyone else absolutely miserable, never cleaning up after herself, making noise in the middle of the night, inviting over strangers… Oh, how I hated her, thank god I never had to see her face after that and I finally managed to get away from that dump and…
… Where was I?
Right, roommates.
The roommate who wrote this Reddit story also had to deal with this kind of annoying roommate, but I hope (for her sake) that she would not be allowed to pull these power-trip tricks, like telling everyone to stop using the over because it costs too much.
