Congratulations, fellow introverts. You've survived the first major trial of the holiday season: Thanksgiving. Just be sure that before those leftovers even go bad, you'll likely be getting a call about some other family get-together or even a friendly outing for the local tree lighting ceremony or the Christmas parade. Your social battery probably won't have time to fully recharge until mid-January.
But fear not! Introverts have always survived the holiday season because of a certain je ne sais quoi that readily rejuvenates their spirits–bad weather! Because when the rain pours, the introverts can finally relax and enjoy the things they love most at home: Binge-watching shows, getting delicious takeout, and our favored solo tranquility. And although we have many festive obligations to attend introverts find solace in those chiller moments granted, in part, to the foulness outside.
Scroll on for this week's collection of relatable introvert memes that'll undoubtedly give you an excuse to cancel plans and stay in this weekend (hopefully).
