If you're a retail worker this time of year, bless your soul. You are out here fighting demons every day. And by demons, I mean overzealous Karens with a little too much time on their hands and a paucity of empathy and compassion. With everyone doing their holiday shopping, things get majorly busy around this time, and tensions run high. I worked in retail for a long time, and nothing can quite prepare you for the December rush. All you can hope for is that you have a good crew of coworkers you can complain with. Without that, you'd be like a ship on the ocean.
