Hey there, animal fam. As we're getting closer and closer to the end of the year, we can't help but look back on what an amazing year it has been. 2024 Has been full of hilarious animal memes, disastrous doggo posts (but the fun kind of disaster….the kind that doesn't happen in your house), and of course, a lot of heartwarming animal rescue stories. We went through all of our favorites from this year and we did the hard job of picking the best, the most satisfying, and the most adorable one just for you.

Our pick for Animal Comedy's most awwdorable video of the year involves a literal rescue story. After hearing her neighbor's dog yelping for help for days being left out in the rain, one wholesome woman took it upon herself to rescue the poor puppy and take care of her. She left a note (scroll down to see it below), but they never responded. This precious puppy went from 'guess we'll be fostering her for a while' to 'welcome home' in the blink of an eye, and we couldn't be happier about it. Some people don't deserve dogs. They are a huge commitment, and they require constant care and attention, especially as puppies. We're glad this heartwarming woman took a chance and saved the puppy. Now she's with a family who loves her, just like she deserves!

The puppy is in that metal cage in the upper right-hand corner - can you imagine getting a puppy and just leaving it in there? What kind of person does this? We're glad they didn't call back - they didn't deserve this loving angel!
