On Black Friday, gamers buy games.
For my husband and I–two very casual gamers–it's become something of a holiday tradition. Every year, we wait like kids for the PlayStation catalog to be released, and we eagerly scour the pages for fun games at a discount. Without fail, we find a game we like and proceed to obsess over that one single game for the next several months.
Casual gamers relish a good deal for a game. Without the time or energy to 100% every game we play, we need to be wise about how we spend our simoleons. A $75 game with lots of bugs isn't going to be the best investment for a casual gamer. We need to look at the big picture, investing our time and cash into something tried and true, like Pikmin 3, Animal Cross, God of War, or just a regular old Call of Duty (not the latest game obviously, who has the time for a 245MB download?). So if you're like my family and you're happily enjoying your latest game purchase, scroll onward to dwell in the relatable humors of every gamer this season.
