As women, we want to prove to the rest of the world that we are just as capable as men and can be just as successful, especially when it comes to our careers. We constantly need to fight to show our worth, and I am sorry, but stories like this one prove that in some ways, we can never be truly equal to men.

It is no secret that motherhood and successful careers sometimes do not go hand in hand. Even starting with the very first step of motherhood–the pregnancy. Being pregnant, then later having to take time off to care for your newborn, is the first obstacle to maintaining your path in the work life. But having to look for a job while you're pregnant? Sounds like a mission impossible to me.

That is why, even though it is clear that the woman in this Reddit story was definitely trying to hide her pregnancy when she was interviewing for a job, I simply cannot blame her. I feel for anyone whose simple biology gets in the way of everything else in their lives, and I fear for the day that might happen to me too.
