Traveling with anyone is a test to the relationship; as they say, travel with a partner before getting married. You don't actually know all sides of someone until you've traveled with them. It goes the same for friends. Things may seem great on the surface, but when you're spending 24/7 together, sleeping in the same room, and trying to coordinate logistics, then things can get hairy.
In this Reddit thread, the original poster (OP) is a woman who's planned a trip with some close friends from high school. They've been planning and saving for a long time, and it's finally happening. But to her surprise, she finds out they've invited some of their friends that she doesn't even know. Being uncomfortable with the situation of traveling with strangers, she opts out of the trip completely. Call me crazy, but there's no chance I would ditch a trip like that. The more the merrier.
