'It was love at first union’: Loving Pawrents Rescued Two Kittens From a Storm Drain and, Smitten as They Were, Quickly Adopted a Sibling for Them

When you become a pawrent, it's almost impossible to remember who you were before the added members of the family arrived. It's difficult to imagine your life without them as they bring so much… everything: joy, laughter, anxiety, mess, and above all - love.

The couple in this thread was blessed with three furry additions to their family, their adopted cats. First, they found two kittens in a broken storm drain outside their apartment and immediately fell in love with them. They gave their rescued kittens delicious names - Cheddar and Noodle - and their love at first sight only grew with each passing day. Cheddar and Noodle were deliciously pawdorable kittens, and just like that - a family was formed.

But that wasn't it for this cat-loving couple. When they heard of another kitten in need of a home, their hearts immediately expanded to make room for him as well. He was named Muenster, to purrfectly match the culinary vibe of his new family and indeed quickly nestled into his new home, as if he had been there forever. Now the couple, overjoyed with pawrenting, encourages other cat owners to pause their hustle-bustle lives now and then and simply enjoy raising their furry felines because they won't be here forever. As long as our cat-kids run around the house scratching and meownching, we'd better make it count.

Well, it's impossible to look at this photo and not imagine this pair sitting scared and shaking in that broken storm drain in the middle of a storm, before being pulled out into a warm loving home. Plus, sitting like that, it's easy to see the culinary inspiration that may have led to their naming, because they look like a purrfect salt and pepper shaker.
