Every lifestyle has limits. If you run every Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM, you might have to not if your nephew's Christening is scheduled for one Saturday at 11 AM. That doesn't negate all the other times you ran during that specific time all those other weekends, and it doesn't derail your progress in leading a healthy life.
Sometimes, you have to make exceptions to your personal rules and standards in order to be healthy in a more well-rounded way. Not buying foods with dyes for your kids is one thing, but making them sit out of cake at birthday parties is cruel and borderline antisocial. Sometimes, you've got to be unhealthy for a couple of days out of the year to celebrate holidays the right way.
