'Looks time-sensitive... Straight in the bin': Guy shreds his lousy ex-housemate's mail when they fail to file a change of address, getting revenge after years of walking on eggshells

When you have a roommate who constantly gives you a hard time, it's difficult not to resent them eventually. Walking on eggshells in your own home to avoid detonating the time bomb you share a kitchen with can be stressful–especially over several years with said terrible housemate. There must be a way that polite housemates can vindicate themselves! 

Karma may present herself in the form of a mailing address technicality–just as it did for u/Rachel_Silver (OP) when their awful housemate finally moved out and neglected to change their address. 

After 2 months of receiving seemingly important parcels from the government, ticketing services, and miscellaneous bills for their former roommate, OP realized they never intended to submit a change of address with USPS or any other mail carrier service. Fortunately, this annoyance turned into the perfect opportunity for petty revenge, making up for years of resentment with the shrill sound of a paper shredder.
