u/Just_Contribution168 (OP) put their holiday PTO request in 6 months ago… That's a lot of time for their employer to plan ahead, ensure coverage, and make sure that everything is running smoothly on the job. So when this PTO request was denied a week ago, OP was furious. With purchased flights on the line and an entire vacation itinerary at risk, they did the only thing they could think of that would save the holiday.
