Karen forces son-in-law to finish food he can't eat, he gets even next time mother-in-law visits: 'You should have told me you didn't eat steak'

It's about that time of year when visiting one's in-laws is just around the corner. This means bracing yourself for the occasional passive-aggressive remark or awkward encounter. It also means preparing to find excuses to have some alone time and to draw boundaries. You simply cannot be "on" all the time with anyone, especially with family. 

This entitled Karen, however, was far more intense than your average mother-in-law. She frequently forced her son-in-law to eat food that he couldn't eat, knowing full well that he had serious gastrointestinal issues. After the latest encounter, he thought it was time to get some petty revenge now that it was confirmed that his mother-in-law would be visiting them for dinner. This time, he was the host, and he was going to give her a much-deserved taste of her own medicine.
