My wife and I are unapologetic toy collectors. We've held onto our old childhood treasures, lugging them from one apartment to another like precious cargo, and we've amassed a whole new collection along the way. Passing a toy store without buying something? Impossible. Toys spark so much joy for us, and our home reflects that—our kids are practically swimming in action figures, board games, and every kind of toy you can imagine.
Ironically, they don't seem to appreciate the bounty at their fingertips. The moment they walk through the door, they bypass the toy-filled shelves and head straight to the computer for yet another round of Roblox. Even our youngest, with his vivid imagination, doesn't use the carefully curated collection of action figures to bring his elaborate stories to life. Instead, he grabs whatever random object is nearby. It's fascinating, really—though I admit, a little heartbreaking for us toy enthusiasts!
