When working in the restaurant industry, it's important to accommodate customers' dietary needs and restrictions. If you're not too careful, your restaurant might have a lawsuit on its hands because a customer had an allergic reaction because of the staff's carelessness. But what about dietary restrictions that are merely a choice?
Of course, the restaurant will try to accommodate their customers' needs because that's what food service is all about, but some requests are entitled to the max. In this next story, a group of four sits down at a restaurant and insists that the kitchen staff use silverware and cookware that has never touched meat before. Instead, they want the cooks to use brand-new silverware to prepare their vegetarian meals (despite the restaurant having few vegetarian options.) Their server tries to make it work, but the customers disappointingly leave the establishment and take their entitlement with them.
