We love a nature-loving canine. Meet Roscoe! This furry friend is a dog that lives in the mountains and is free to roam around. His collar reads that he will go home eventually, to just leave him there. Turns out Roscoe isn't just moseying around, he's basically an unofficial park ranger! Two girls decided they wanted to go on a hike up a trail they had never been on. If you are a woman, then you know how nerve-wracking that can be to do alone. If you've watched any true crime, you know that two girls in the woods alone isn't the safest. But women love nature and hiking too and they deserve to enjoy it. So, we hike and these two girls hike! But perhaps a certain park ranger with a great sense of smell could tell these girls were feeling a little uneasy.
He approached their car, and they saw his collar. They asked him if he wanted to go on a hike with them. Roscoe was more than happy to show them through the mountains he knew so well and he stayed by their side the entire time! The girls enjoyed it more than they could have ever imagined and were extra thankful for Roscoe's presence! See the whole adorable story below!
