Repair technicians band together to maliciously comply with new manager's system, causing him to get fired: 'Productivity plummets'

Sometimes, the best way to communicate to your new manager that they're doing a bad job is to do exactly what they have instructed. Perhaps you have tried to do the decent thing and explain exactly why a new policy isn't practical or efficient for the people who actually execute said tasks and responsibilities, but we all know that most managers are intellectually incapable of processing that kind of criticism in a productive way. Instead, they would rather interpret this criticism as indicative of laziness and incompetence among team members… you know, anything to convince themselves that they're not the problem.

Here, we have a new manager who instituted new policies focused on efficiency and productivity that were completely unrealistic for the repair technicians who actually had to carry out these policies. Eventually, they all met privately and collectively decided to enact some well-deserved malicious compliance in order to prove this guy wrong.
