It's almost Thanksgiving and you know what that means—Thanksgiving foods! Oh boy, mash potatoes, green beans, pie, stuffing, and… uh, well, we're vegetarian so that's kind of it. We're not here to judge carnivores! We just don't want to eat meat. We love turkeys too much. Did you know they can actually form strong bonds with humans and even request cuddles and loving?? Plus, have you ever said "gobble gobble" to a turkey? They love it and always gobble back! I have no idea what the science is behind that, but it's just one more adorable reason why they're off the menu at Thanksgiving for many of us. We might need to add extra protein to our morning smoothies and make going out to dinner a tad more complicated, but it's worth it for us. Especially at Thanksgiving, we actually LOVE those sides.
