    Skilled Cat Dad Sews Homemade, Anime-Inspired Cosplay Costumes for His Photogenic Fur Babies

    Welcome, anime fans and stans. Many anime character designs leave fans wondering if they are meant to look European. Some anime like Fullmetal Alchemist and Attack On Titan are clear that their characters are intended to represent Western-looking people, but many anime feature blue-eyed, blonde-haired Japanese characters. Well, anime is fantasy, and manga artists design their characters to to be unique and memorable. Thus if they say that their green eyed, red-haired protagonist is Japanese, she absolutely is. 

    However, the truth is that many anime characters are not modeled off of humans at all; their proportions are based off of cats — big, round eyes, tiny noses and mouths, and soft chins. So, who better to pull off an accurate cosplay than an actual cat? Dedicated cat dad @YagyouNEKO spends hours designing and sewing handmade cosplay costumes for his adorable fur babies.
