Surely, every single one of us can think of a food product that we used to love, but then something about it changed and suddenly tasted disgusting. I'm sure it will not come as a surprise to know that companies do that because they are trying to reduce costs and use cheaper products. And when you use cheaper products, well, then the food is going to taste much worse.
The employee in this Reddit story was fed up with how their company was dealing with a change to their famous dressing. Even after the QA team warned the SEO that the change really does make the dressing taste terrible, they decided to approve it anyway and send it to stores.
